From the left: 20 min in tonbo and vine charcoal, then tonbo for the rest. The model brought in cat ears, a toy axe, and a broken plastic pitch fork :) I think that's the part I like the best about figure drawing at CalArts- the models really go all out with the costume changes, and amazing poses.

On the far left, one of four turn-arounds, I think. He strapped his belt around the deer's neck for this one xD On the right, all four turn-arounds. Both are tonbo pen on sketch paper.

THOSE ARE BAD ASS.
BAD. ASS.
maaaaaan those are really cool~v v v love what you did with the models. . . sounds like your class is similar to clothed figure drawing, but our most recent "model" was so BAD. I drew the back of her head and just standing like so.many.times. *SOB* I hape we never get her again (=_________=) ugggh!!! . . . .andihatemyteacher.
*ahem* thats really cool that they let you draw in pen!
I love the first one!! OMG HAHA looks like a saint XD Was the deer real @A@;;;
I agree. Calarts models are much funner to draw with props and costumes XD
You're so good!!!!!
I like how you can get such expressive and controlled lines... they're not messy at all, so awesome~!!
Good Lord, the gesture in your work just keeps on getting more and more impressive! All of that energy aaaaaah! It's so good! So GOOOOOOOOD! D:
great stuffff!
you missed out on dinner last time and had special delivery courtesy of amelia. so we gotta do that again sometime with your actual presence.
I really like how your figure studies have a definitely sense of motion while simultaneously being very solid. This is my nice way of saying GOD I HATE YOU STOP IMPROVING.
!!!
I swear if you come back and say that your stuff suck, I will slap you. Betty and Cherise are near me cussing you out for being so good.
aww. these are so nice!
i'm so excited to see your film this year... with such beautiful work from this semester!
Keep up the good work!
Hello! My name is Brittany and I met you at portfolio day down at Calarts. I showed you some of my work, I hope you remember me. I didn't get the chance to contact you until now.
Even if you don't, you're artwork is still amazing! These are wonderful.
